Overview

Welcome to Indian Banks' Association's 2nd Annual HR Conclave.

Over the last few years, the HR function in banking has been disrupted by several technological advancements. With the advent of digitization and artificial intelligence, automation of transactional HR activities has been widely undertaken by global banks. The focus is now shifting towards leveraging technology to improve performance management systems to objectively identify and measure performance of all employees, which will lead to sharp uptake in productivity.

In the midst of this wave of technological disruption, public sector banks in India continue to face challenges on hiring of top talent as well as implementation of market-linked, performance-based compensation and incentives for their staff. There is also an increasing need to build specialised skills on topics such as credit, risk management, analytics, big data etc. This reskilling and upskilling exercise is the need of the hour and requires a well thought through strategy.

Due to capital constraints and existing legacy issues, public sector banks are facing a huge challenge in adopting technology. However, even within this gamut banks can change the ways of working to make their respective organizations faster and nimble. Agile ways of working can help banks react faster to changing customer preferences and improve collaboration within the organization.
Who should attend:
We expect board members, executive directors & CEOs of banks, heads of HR functions and their team members, learning, development and training department heads, HR and team leadership consultants, HR specialist companies etc. to join us at this imperative conference.
